in reality with the view point of "making everyone happy" i'd have to agree with you heavymetal, the merging of kagome and kikyo would definatly come to some advantag to everyone. it would inu more at ease and able to confess his love for kagome without guilt, kikyo could rest knowing she still in a way has inu, kagome gets more powers or at least knows more on how to use them and memories of past inu, but of course this actually working out would definatly be a surprise.
mostly becuz in reality kikyo is kinda selfish and kagome can be stubborn but yea all in all i like the idea for them morphing together. if only we could do that in real life...sigh...then i could have the "perfect" guy to so speak. lol

as for inu calling kagome kikyo, i bet you if they did morph together that would happen at least once if not a couple times, and of course kagome would yell "SIT BOY" then say "I"M GOING HOME YOU JERK" but aplologies would be made and i doubt it would happen more than just a couple times...if inu knows what is good for him then again he is a guy  so who knows lol

Yeah their fight would be like that.

Careful with perfection. It tends to be its own flaw. Perfection is boring as it never changes. Not to mention if someone is perfect then they have no free will. They must always do what is perfect, which eliminates choice.

You know a lot of other countries consider corn to only be food for pigs. So yeah !@$#@ corn.

which is exactly why kagome and kikyo being one person may seem like the greatness but then that would make the being they become the perfect person for inuyasha and as you said there would be no free will and a flaw within it's self. i think coming together would obviously lead to more problems escpecially for inu because he would still miss kikyo and in a sense kagome as seperate people.

and what's this hate towards corn?? I"m from the "corn" state bucko..well at least that's how it's viewed from others and we do have a lot of corn...but that's Iowa for ya corn ....hills....cows....and hey look CORN!!! :D

First off.. have to say you have some very good points! But after watching that one episode on saturday when InuYasha makes his decision to stay away from Kagome for it isn't fair, I've decided that he's a jerk! I like the boy, don't get me wrong, but this is getting really irritating! Kikyos dead, even Kiate(sp) (kikyo's sister) said that it's not the same person. He hardly gives kagome any credit for the fact that she accepts his love for kikyo. She's always the one that has to talk about things and than excuses him for not having to say anything. He should keep his memory of kikyo and move on. Guess he's a dreamer afloat! Kagome puts up with a lot of hate from Kikyo, when she is her reincarnation(sp), and when she said she wished Kikyo would go away she told herself she was turning into a horrible person. She's always giving and sacrificing and its getting old when she barely gets anything in return. Therefore, Inuyasha can be a big jerk! Plus with being the reincarnation its like she really doesn't have a choice how her fate ended up so its not like she fell in love with him completely on purpose, it was partly her destination. *sigh all this is starting to get irritating in the show and im getting flustered! (sorries, hope it made some sense; had to vent).

"Careful with perfection. It tends to be its own flaw. Perfection is boring as it never changes." it's boring, plus since we are not perfect ourselves, if there was someone who was perfect, that would make someone feel inferior to that perfect person. Because they themselves are not perfect.. just had to say that!

I was speaking more in terms of godly perfection not a perfect match. I guess I should I have said that.

As for the corn, you must not have read your profile recently. You call everyone a bastard and curse the corn. I though it was funny. Besides I like corn.

I am also from a rural state. Here we have winter wheat and ... and ... well a bunch of other plants. We have a lot of rednecks too, by the Jeff Foxworthy definition of a person with a glorious lack of sophistication. This is a place where fun activity means people get drunk and ride dirt bikes. If you have ever seen the show Jackass it reminds me of many of my friends at times. Lighting fireworks with a cig and running is another popular past time. Especially since somebody gets in their head to toss the flame into a whole bag of explosives.

The perfection thing was about something else. I don't consider the solution perfect.

I simply feel sympathy for everyone involved.

Kikyo
Yeah Kikyo has become bitter and twisted, but only because her undead life isn't any worse then her duty filled loveless mortal life. She is the same person just after the cruelty that happened to her.

She once was very nice, including just before resurrection. She took care of a convict she took pity on. For her mercy she was left with betrayal, hurt, death, and loss. That could turn a lot people bitter. She was able to kill Inuyasha but could not bring herself to do it, even when she was about to die from a wound she thought he made.. During her resurrection she didn't want Inuyasha to call her name because she knew what would happen to herself and Kagome.

Inuyasha
He grew up alone and does not know how to handle people. Kikyo and Kagome were the first people to look at him as himself and not demon spawn.

He is torn because he cares for both of them. He comes off as a jerk when he attempts to find a solution to keep from hurting either of them. He just isn't good with emotions so it was a crappy solution he tried.

Kagome
I think Kagome should get Inuyasha. Once again I suggested a Piccolo style merger. Kagome would remain Kagome, but reunite with her former self.

I see what you mean about fate though. Like I said their soul is the same. They just grew up in different lives with different people. That is what makes them different people. Kikyo has not always been free to hate so she likes the new freedom. Kagome has had such freedom and chooses not to feel hate for Kikyo.

Kagome does put up with a lot. If she didn't then she would not really care about Inuyasha. I mean damn the guy was stuck on a tree dreaming of being betrayed by who at the time was the only person to ever treat him nicely outside of his long dead mother. Kagome understands that.

You should watch the rest of the current episodes. It becomes easier to feel sympathy for all of them. Things aren't exactly what they seem, especially with Kikyo. Like I said Kagome is who I would pick, I just tried to think of way to keep everyone from further hurt. Stupid Naraku, what a bastard.

ha i forgot about that....i do curse the corn there's jsut so damn much of it....sigh the midwest is stellar to the max hehe.
yea i understand the sympathy with the triangle that's going on. and agree ultimatly kagome should get inu but at least kagome has the maturity to respect everyone else's decisions.
damn naraku...grrr if it wasn't for him things wouldn't be such a mess...wait idea  what if we put inu in anger management classes then had him talk to a therapist like say Dr. Phil and then he could express his emotions for the two and decide thus preventing kagome and kikyo having to merge!! haha that would be such the gay route i'm more for the merger plus inu without his attitude just isn't inu.

Anger Management

Post by HeavyMetal » Sat May 08, 2004 12:17 am

Dr. Phil is a quack. He is just filling the power vacuum left by Jerry Springer and his cast of mutants. (Nothing against mutants)

Now that would be funny Inuyasha and the cast on Springer.

Poor Inuyasha would have more chairs cracked over his head.

Besides a lot girls like that emotional confused personality in guys. I suppose that sort of attraction to the clueless works both ways. Though Inuyasha is the only one clueless in the show.
