hmm
It was either Poke' Mon, or Vampire hunter d, one of the two.... well it was mostly a weekly cinema on SciFi called the Saturday Anime, it had some pretty kick ass animes on it, and some pretty stupid ones, my favorite by far was Vampire Hunter D.

-Old school SciFi channel... I remember seeing a few when they came on, but the only one that I can seem to remember is Galaxy Express 999 the movie.
-UPN Dragonball Z & Sailor Moon - before it became really popular in the states and before it they were aired on Cartoon Network I remember watching them pretty much every week on UPN...
-Girls... there was this girl at school who was into anime. *shrug* I thought it was a good way to talk to her.. "hey, you're into anime too?"

Let's see now, I think it was Voltron, no wait, it was Sailor Moon, no... I think it was Dragonball...
All those bring back lots of memories....each of them represented a certain period of my childhood.
Rurouni kenshin definitely got me into anime, that's for sure.......

Yeah I know what ya mean, teknoman ruled, I watched it on fox kids right before escaflowne every night . I think the only way to get all 49 eps (including twin blood special) is by bootleg cos Im sure they stopped the dub at 45 (wtf was the point in that, there were only 4 more eps ). Its the only bootleg I actually want to buy, shame on me .ArmoredGriffon wrote:Teknoman!!!!!!!!!!
That show rocked!!!!!(too bad they stopped it mid-season here in the states
Anyways, the first thing that got me into anime was the second Guyver live-action, I remember seeing it when I was like 7 thinking it was the coolest movie of all time. Then when I was about eight I knew this older kid who had these "violent cartoons", turned out to be the guyver anime and thus my anime fandom began.
