Anime Art Thread

Even copying fom another picture it is quite a talent ( most great portraits and art is done with a model to work from). Reminds me of two of my girls, they started young and have both progressed into very good artists. Encourage her to keep trying, and check book stores like B. Dalton, they have good books for budding artists.

noice one Otohiko i luv the shaden...and yeh her legs are lidle bit short

nah, but I have been posting in this thread a bunch, check earlier posts, I think i've covered my entire DA gallery by now lol.

Something tells me she's doing what I was doing at that age, copying, which isn't bad cause it kinda helps yah learn (unlike tracing). But you can kinda tell being there's no evidence of guide lines for the poses, espcially the naruto pic, where you'd expect to see lots of leftovers.

Yes, and thats how she got so good, she did alot of them ;p These 3, she drew them from pictures on her PC monitor. (which in itself is impressive I think, even copying I still mess up alot before getting the right proportions ;p ) But she can draw almost this good even with original characters... Hold on let me post a picture from her Valentine manga:

The book was very wrinkled, so it didn't scan too clearly....

Also, while she doesn't realy use guidelines, she does make mistakes and erases them, you probably just can't see them that well because I adjusted the levels and contrast to bring out the lines better before posting them.

oh and I like that pic Jebadia, especialy the face and particularly the shape of the mouth, it has emotion.

.... ummm... shouldn't this thread be moved to the Anime pictures section? Or is there some unknown force of nature working here that I'm missing?

No, this thread is for amateur anime/manga styled art drawn by the local fellas of the org, unlike the screencaps and studio posters and official artwork in the other forum.

Besides someone suggested moving this a while back and the suggestion was turned down I believe.
