Saw Roujin Z a few weeks ago. Short 90 minute OAV. Written by Katsuhiro Otomo (creator of Akira and Steamboy). When an old man is used as the test subject for a new robotic bed that will look after the elderly, his former caretaker apposes the device since she knows that robots can't express real care and real emotions. When the old man demands to see the nurse again, things get crazy. The old computer guys were really neat.
After seeing more of Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight, I can see it doesn't live up to the original OAV series. Plot is okay, but has it's flaws and the action scenes are some of the worst animated I've seen (it's really nice to watch a sword fight with 7 second long still frames and focusing the action on everyone's shoes). The only reason I'm still watching this is for the super deformed shorts at the end of each episode. "Wheee! We're on a boat! Hurray, hurray, hurray!"

Just finished Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water (It's actually replaced Eva as my #1 anime) and plan on watching His and Her Circumstances next.

I agree...angelx03 wrote:Good ol' romantic and intimate ones will be enough for me (in which are kind of hard to find ).
I just finished Blue Seed. It's a really good series. Kinda like Evangelion without the mechs and dementia. The ending's pretty heart-warming, too
! It starts out a tad ecchi (don't ya just hate it when a tentacle plant monster rips off your skirt? ), but in the later episodes, it's pretty dramatic and cool. I suggest you guys see it.
Be non-conformist! (Everyone's doing it!)
I guess Max Payne isn't much of a yaoi fan...

Trinity Blood 01 - Hmm. Pretty interesting idea. I definitely thought it was a good show, but on the other hand it is made by Gonzo so chances are good that it will start out strong and then slide downhill from there. I'll keep watching in hopes that that doesn't happen though.
Ichigo 100% 04 and 05 - At first, I didn't think I liked this show, but with the introduction of Satsuki, now I do. She is way awesome! She really makes the show in my opinion. Also, their teacher reminds me of the teacher from DearS . Finally, this show sure wasted no time getting on with the obligitory beach episode, did it?
Honey & Clover 01 and 02 - This show seemed pretty good. Not my favorite by a damn sight but still worth watching. Morito is my favorite character, he's pretty damn funny, and I am way curious about just what it is he does for a living. I do, however, find it extremely strange that noone in the show thinks it's wierd that a girl who looks 8 is actually 18.

Hmm, checked out episodes 1-3 of Izumo.
From what I heard, it's based on a PC game that's both a visual novel and a RPG game (which means we're going to have a harem of girls with badass powers ). Basically these two guys who are best friends since childhood and four girls gets transported to an apocalyptic future where monsters ruled. During those times the monsters attacked them and one guy and the girl seperated from their group (leaving the other guy with the most girls ). Seem like those group of friends that got seperated each got involved with rival groups that are fighting each other in the new world.
Intriguing, but mediocre at best. And I'm still waiting until the girls gets to use thier newfound powers and help their respective guy friends.
