Oh, It's proabably a good thing, but I feel it will work out the same way video games did. At least from what I remember, And correct me if I am worng, but back in the day of snes and genesis there was no ESBR, and there and even when that came into the gaming world it really was not enforced until like two years ago, no one stopped me from play video games that said M on them even though it was enforced more so when I was 17. Any way, the next part was that a lot of the political and and religous morons started using games as a scape goat. I remember on CSPAN, which I was waching for some odd reason. One of the people talking was just going off on how much video games influence violence and boy I thought of so many counter arguments. Same thing happened when I went to temple a long time ago, I hardly go any more, but the rabbi there got me pissed off because he was going off on how video games are evil. Any, but now it has calmed down, and I feel that anime will go the same only slower.
Once something really big happens and is uncencored on TV, for the video game world it was Mortal Kombat a great game. Any way once that happens a lot of people will get in anime eve more so, and the evil soccer moms will say its evil, and then people will fight over it and political leaders and religious leaders will us it as a scape goat, until finally a compromise is reached, and the people at the stores that sell anime will have to start checking ID. Everthing will calm down, and ther ewill still be little out breaks but more or less the constitustion will win, and all will be well. So, in that sence its a good thing, even though there will be little dark spots here and there over all will win.
The main thing I am worried about is the second people, mostly in america probably not to say it does not happen in japan, will relize, that they can make money off of anime, and there will be mass productions of thousands of anime titles that make DBZ look like it has the greats plot in the world. The popular something is the more shit you'll encounter.
