Fushigi Yuugi vs. Ayashi No Ceres

Which of the two anime created by Yuu Watase is more likely to watch?
Fushigi Yuugi or Ayashi No Ceres

I would watch neither. I dont really like either and I agree with AD on the sleeping thing.

Fushigi Yuugi, definitely. Even after making a Ceres video last year... I realized how disappointed I was by the series. ;_;

The only piece of Ayashi no Ceres that I've seen is the last four episodes or so in my anime club from last year. I was so lost... but, I do like what little of the manga I've read.

Fushigi Yugi is another story. I absolutely love the manga so far, and I would love to see the series at some point, if I can ever scrounge up an extra $300 to buy both 26-episode box sets. So, my vote is Fushigi Yugi.

Fushigi Yuugi is WaY better. the only thing i liked about Ayashi no ceres was the theme song and touya (hott dude!)

Well, I haven't seen Fushigi Yuugi, but I have been watching Ayashi no Ceres recently, and I have to say that so far I like it a lot. I just wish that Aya would stop her "I love Tooya" bit and go with Yuuhi instead.

Fushigi Yuugi all the way. I loved the ending. I could watch Sappy Self-Indulgence a million times just to be reminded of that part.

Well seeing as how I feel asleep trying to watch one episode of fushigi yuugi and I watched the series for ayashi no ceres. Yuugi was too much like a boring soap opera to me. Ayashi No Ceres interested me cause I wanted to see how bad touya, the ancient and Ceres could be. I only watched it once though.

I loved Fushigi Yuugi and Ayashi no Ceres..... though i favor Fushigi Yuugi more probably because of the length. Yuu Watase has such beautiful artwork in both series and the fantasy plotline along with the mixture of past and present in both series intrigued me.

I bough the art books for both series and i noticed how much research and hard effort came out from these two series. It's not like pokemon where they just make up places from the ppl to go. More research was done for Ayashi no Ceres than it was for Fushigi Yuugi because Fushigi Yugi was based on more fiction than fact. However there is such a book called "the Universe of the four gods."

For those of you who have only seen one episode of either anime and have fallen asleep....... i really hope that you will watch more episodes..... the more in depth Yuu Watase gets into the series, the better the series gets.

and if you've watched the whole thing and thought it was boring anyway..... think of it was a way that you can get to sleep if you get insomnia. ^^
