Favorite/hated English voice actors?
No flames! So sue me, I happen to like English voice actors better than the Japanese voices sometimes.
Anyway, here go my top picks for English VAs (in order):
1) David Kaye -- It completely blew my mind how versatile this man is. He's jumped from Mr. Tendo in Ranma 1/2 to Sesshoumaru in Inuyasha to Wakagi in Key the Metal Idol to Treize Khushrenada in Gundam Wing. Not to mention doing a stint on Knight Rider as K.A.R.R. for one episode ("K.I.T.T. vs. K.A.R.R."), and Megatron in Beast Wars. More info, go here.
2) Tiffany Grant -- From Asuka Langley to Chocolate Misu, she's one of those voices I know anywhere I hear it, even if she's doing two completely different personalities. Not to mention her acting skills are insanely good. As Asuka, she portrayed the perfect amount of bitchiness and vulnerability, something I don't think the Japanese actress got quite right. And as Chocolate, it amazes me how she can sound completely different as Hunter Chocolate than untransformed.
3) Brian Drummond -- Not quite as versatile as David Kaye, but he certainly comes close. From a certain uncontrollable Saiyan prince with an inferiority complex (Vegeta) to the obligatory "Blonde Guy in a Mask" of Gundam Wing to Allen Schezar of Escaflowne, Drummond can (and does) jump from Prince Charming to a raving lunatic quite easily.
4) Victoria Harwood -- The only anime voice she's done so far is Integra of Hellsing, but I absolutely love her voice. Heck, I like all the voices of the Hellsing dub better than the original (Japanese trying sound British is just frightening). But for some reason Harwood just stands out.
5) Andrew Philpot -- Making his most notable appearance as D in Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, he's got a powerful presence even when playing such a softspoken character. Other notable credits include High Summoner Braska in Final Fantasy X and Nobuyuki in Tenchi Muyo in Love.
6) David Lucas -- Cowboy Bebop's Spike Spiegel and Big O's Roger Smith, to the voice of Toonami's CGI mascot, Lucas is one of those voices that you hear everywhere, but don't stop to think about until you look him up on IMDB. He's got the right mix of smoothness and emotional range to pull off his roles, plus a great narrator to voice Tom.
7) Jessica Calvello -- The almighty Excel, she needs no explanation. Talk about devotion, the woman strained her vocal cords bringing Excel's insanity to life. Literally. And listening to the sugar-sparked agent's endless babble, it isn't hard to see why. In fact, one could almost believe that Calvello's just as cracked as Excel is.
8) Scott McNeill -- Another guy whom I swear has a case of split personalities. From doing a quarter of the cast of Beast Wars, he went on to voice Mari in Project A-ko, Piccolo in DBZ, and Duo in Gundam Wing, among countless others.
9) Amanda Winn Lee -- From Rei Ayanami to Rally Vincent, Lee has shown her versatility in both character and sound. As Rei, she displayed the perfect combination of cold obedience and melancholy that made the character so gripping. And as Rally, she displayed the perfect no-nonsense woman-of-action attitude.
10) Jack Taylor -- Last but certainly not least. Only three named credits to his record are Majari of Yu Yu Hakusho, King Hamdo of Now and then, Here and There, and my personal favorite, Kyouichi Saionji of Utena. Heck, he was the only one who made that "Grant me the power to bring the World Revolution!" line sound badass.

wow..I had noticed he did Tom....., he also did the voice for Shisho (sp?) in Kenshin, and if you've ever hear the bloopers he did with Shisho, you'd die laughing.BishounenStalker wrote:

Lisa Ortiz= She does a way better Lina than Megumi hayshibara and I like just about every anime she's in.
Wendy lee=Hate her. She has overstretched herself and the atrocious voice acting she did for Love Hina is the nail in her coffin. The love Hina dub is unforgiveable filth a pox upon Wendy lee.
Crispin Freeman=My favorite male voice actor which isn't saying much because I don't wack to male characters anyway.
