Why are there so few good tenchi and gundam (other than gundam wing) videos? Am I just not finding them or are they less popular then I thought?[/img]

i'd have to say that too...

but i think i know why.
Tenchi doesn't really seem to have that good material for AMVs in my experience. every song i run into somehow a few lines dont add into the Tenchi saga.

...either that or coincidentally not that many Tenchi fans are mv creators as well.

Man, I have most of the Tenchi series on DVD... Maybe I will eventually create a good video using said footage...

There's plenty of good Tenchi vids.

"Waiting for You" by Dan Gallacher
"The Pain of Ryoko's Heart" by Fly High Studios
"Chick Magnet" by More Than Toast
"So Wrong" (I don't remember who did this one. I don't have it anymore)
"One Shot Juanita" (Don't remember the author again... it's Pretty Sammy, but that still counts as Tenchi in my book.)
The Tenchi section of the DDR Project done to "Vol. 4" by Raver's Choice is cool.

There's lots of them out there. heh.

I'm making a Tenchi vid one of these days to "Yamerarenai, Yamerarenai" (Shin Tenchi Muyo theme song.) but who knows when I'll get around to it.

As for Gundam Wing.. no.. There's no such thing as a good Gundam vid. They all suck.

Surprisingly enough, I don't really like that one much... I love Sakuya, don't get me wrong. I'm one of her happy supporters! ^_^ *huggles Sakuya-chan!*

But I just didn't like that vid all that much... heh. I guess different strokes for different folks

Is This Love depressed the hell out of me, heck I haven't seen it in a long time and thinking of it still depresses me. ;-;

But I got some Tenchi DVDs so I might make something sometime, doubt it'd be good though. :p

I'm telling you, man... Dan Gallacher's "Waiting For You" (Tenchi to "Everlong") is the best Tenchi vid ever made. There's just no comparison. A close second is FLy High's "Pain of Ryoko's Heart"... but the other vid is just so awesome.. I hope he makes a new version of it with DVD quality footage. That would be bad-ass. That video blows my mind 8)
