princess mononoke`

Post by Farlo » Sat Apr 05, 2003 8:11 pm

after seeing the box at my local video store for years, i finally got bored and decided to rent it...to my surprise it didnt inhale vigorously...the dubbing was very good(some parts were questionable), the voice actors were not horrible like almost 98% of dubs(inuyasha, kenshin for example)

the funny part is the videostore keeps putting it in the childrens section, even though it has a rating of pg-13 :\

overall better than most

Yeah, it was also made by Studio Ghibli / Hayao Miyazaki.

Yes, it was good. Have you seen any other Studio Ghibli films? I've only seen a few, but all of them are excellent.

Yeh mononoke is a good one. Suprisingly its the only good thing that the blockbuster near me had, vhs though, I don't think they'll ever upgrade to anime dvds, or new anime for that matter.Though nausicaa is still my fav. ghibli flick.

The best effects are the ones you don't notice.
