Well, it was only a matter of time before ADV made this acquisition [sp?], I would assume that most people saw this coming. What are your thoughts on their releasing a "Perfect Collection", and then announcing their preperation to release the "directors cut" episodes?
I suspect that ADV's next move will be the aquisition of Gainex's upcoming/recent "re-release" box set, [see ANIME NEWS NETWORK news archives for info]. That at least would seem to be the next logical business move. Your thoughts?

Is the US market big enough? Eva's already had saturation sales - how many are going to care enough to buy it all over again, having bought it the first time round not expecting there to be a remastered version?
(I would, but then I'm me, and having already bought the PAL VHS - I'll get to Eva when I have the money. Which I'll find in June, when the Renewal box comes out...)
