It wont stop [/Yet another Live Anime Movie]

Live Action Cutey Honey (2003-06-23 02:57:10)
According to Warner Japan, Hideaki Anno will direct a live action movie of Go Nagai's Cutey Honey. Eriko Satoh will star as Honey. Anno says the concept is 'cool' and 'silly.' Shingo Sekine, director of advertising department in Warner Japan, says "I hope the movie will be like Charlies Angels, appealing to girls." Filming is to begin in July with the movie being released next year. Another article in the Hochi Shimbun says that Kazuya Tsurumaki will direct. Source: Daily Sports Nippon. [ No More ]

Maybe it's just me talking here...but something about Hideki Anno doing something with Go Nagai's stuff (much less in live action)....I just can't see that working...

Once again, maybe that's just me

(Then again, I can't see Go Nagai's stuff in live-action no matter WHO'S at the controls...let's just hope no one decides Mazinger Z or Getter Robo needs a live-action update now)

Geez whats next a live action movie of Excel Saga.....actually it would be intresting to see how that would turn out :lol: .

why dont they just make a live anime movie of every anime while there at it?? i mean they got seven they should keep going! im being sarcastic.

I would strongly suggest these people get off weed and go back to making anime.
