Animatrix. Kicks ass.

Post by Solitude101 » Wed Jul 02, 2003 6:46 pm

I know most of you seen Animatrix already. As well as the Two parts of the Matrix Trilogy.

Some Mini Episodes may be disturbing, but they bring meaning to Matrix Trilogy.

What's your Fave Episode, besides "The Final Flight of the Osiris"?
There are people who acts dumb...
And there are people who really are dumb...
But I'm not one of them. =P

To tell you the truth, I was disappointed on the last episode too.

Too many colors made my head spin @_@.

And I didn't feel the story about it.

I have to say that the episode "Beyond" got me confuzzled.

Beyond was my favorite episode. It handled that bit of "defective programs" from reloaded quite well. :)

The last episode was kinda disturbing at moments, but very good nontheless. I like the thought behind that episode.

I like the Renaissance ones...i thought the oracle chick was cool (assuming that's who the funky girl was who looked like she was doing yoga and swirled around in colours). It helps make sense of the movies and stuff.

Favorite: Detective Story

As for the Second Renaissance...I'm not sure what to make of that one...first you start to feel sorry for the machines...then the machines start to turn just as bad as the humans were...in the end I found I gave not a crap for either side.

But that's just me...

I really liked World Record. The idea of accidentally breaking out of the Matrix never occured to me before, and the way the character did so was interesting. That and the animation was subconsciously humorous.

Runners up were Beyond, Detective's Story, and Program.

I adore most Shinichiro Watanabe works, so Kid's Story was one of my favorites, but I felt dissatisfied with Detective story, dunno why. I did enjoy the Second Renaissance (1 and 2), It evoked emotions in me, and I found myself siding with the machines
