I was watching Crest of the Stars and they bring up that the heroine is an artificial being! AAAARGH!! Why does EVERY shoujo-harem anime (cept a few like FMP) have to do this! GAH! So the question is, do 'bio'-androids like Melphina and Lafeel gross you out like that... I mean if their artificial than what use do they have with sexual organs?? And if they do than you just gotta think 'aah man this is so wrong' (cuz after all it is harem i'm not looking for hotness where there's not supposed to be any) I mean their just there because somebody put them there for their own perverted pleasure... ok this' just getting too soccer-momish... but I can't erase it... comments?

The Abh are genetically modified humans, they aren't androids. They can and do have sex, did you miss the whole "Daughter of Love" episode?

uh well as far as crest of the stars is concerned, I didn't understand it at the time (or now till you brought it up) but I guess that's why that title is so important to them... a great anime (kinda slow and story-filled but... me likee) but they gotta stop wading in the shit that is persocons and crap... so (and I can't just watch it again without pirating it or -gasp- buying it) based on how Lafeel described it (Idunno my recording was crappy so it was goin in and out at that point) they were persocons gone wrong, they found their independance in this one voyage than revolted... how special!! BUT IT'S WRONG! Why couldn't they just be hot ass aliens with over-active sex drives like Macross 2 and RahXephon.
