Most everyone, apparently. I thought the music was too loud and dominating and the plot too sluggish. .hack//DUSK was much more to my taste ^_^

I thought it was boring until episode 14. Then it got interesting. But I'm getting kinda sick of .hack. .hack this, .hack that . . . arg.
The Magnificent Seven [Britt has just shot a fleeing bandit off his horse.]
Chico: That was the greatest shot I've ever seen.
Britt: The worst! I was aiming at the horse.

This and Noir (which I believe are from the same creators) impress me with their focus on athmospheric music, and are probably the only two series that I can call 'boring in a good way'

Boring in a good way = kinda slow, filled with flashbacks and a lot of moments of subtle (at times too subtle) symbolism, not for people with short attention span, but most satisfying for those who can stick with it...
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

the music is good, but like everyone here i think the plot goes no where. it does have a brooding mystery element to it, but nothing happens for way too long to keep me interested

i haven't seen .hack or Noir ... but the guy at comic world is always wearing a noir shirt ... i guess he likes that show ... any ways i suppose it would be a good idea to put those two on my to watch list.
