Favorite DVD extras
what are yoru favorites?
For me it's voice over commentary (End of eva and FLCL) and Dub-bloopers (FLCL).
As far as i know the Eva series has one of the weakest sets of DVD extras, i only found them occasionay interesting ... then again i've only seen them up to the 3rd dvd ...

yea RahXephon has that on the first DVD, i suppose teh only reason that theyr're there is for people who do their won video editing ... other wise i could see no real use for them. I think FLCL has a clean opening and closing animation on the thrid disc too, i can't remember.FurryCurry wrote:For me, it's the textless openings/endings.
Sometimes there's excellent amv footage in there, and it's awesome when they put a nice clean version there on the disc for me to use.
I still like my voice over comentary ... very helpful for knowing what the fuck is going on ... exspecialy in FLCL and end of Eva.

Like you said, Roke, audio commentary and dub-bloopers are a really nice feature. But to me the best DVD featurettes are on the Now & Then, Here & There discs. Commentary, extras, bla bla
This one I like the best: The storyboards for every episode are on it, and when you watch it there is a column on the left side where all the storyboards are and on the right you see the episode in a little window, and the storyboard drawings change with every scene on the movie.
They really did power some energy into those discs, especially the 4th bonus one.
Peace out,

Cannot remember which disc it was of Kenshin, but the outtake has him look over at the youngest of the two little girls sleeping (I can't remember their names, been a while since I saw them) and the dub saysShun wrote:Outakes in rurouni kenshin dvd Fire Requirm.
