Favorite anime soundtrack? (J-Pop? o.O)
That's if you're into this sort of thing.
I love most of the themes from Inuyasha, especially the ending songs.
So to list them...
Fukai Mori
My Will
Dearest
Every Heart

OOOO!!!!!!!!! So many to list so little space...I shall limit my selection and tell you the following...
Mad Soldiers (responsible for most of Gravitation's soundtrack)
Maaya Sakamoto (thinkin' Escaflowne soundtrack)
Naomi Tamura (Rayearth Soundtrack)
Megumi Hayashibara (Mostly the Slayers Soundtrack, but I love a lot of her music be it anime tracks or otherwise...though will someone please tell me that she isn't responsible for that horrible rendering of "Fly me to the moon" off of Eva...I heard it at a friends and GAH!!! twas horrible!! the pitching and sound was crap... sniffle...she must have had a weak moment, cause otherwise she rocks....)
And thanks to Arigatomyna...I went on a spree to find music by Every Little Thing...so far my fav song is Feel my heart...I don't know if they are featured on any soundtrack but they are j-pop none the less....

anyway, if you like more emotional/dramatic music get the soundtrack for ARJUNA, which is done by Yoko Kanno (she did the music for cowboy bebop)

Hellsing, anything by Yoko Kanno, the .hack soundtrack, the Lupin soundtrack, and while it inst really anime, I must once again list the Guilty Gear X soundtrack......note that most of it isnt J-pop, because I seriously dislike J-pop, but oh well.
Kawaita hitomi de dareka na itekure -The Real Folk Blues, Yoko Kanno
I like it! -Indiscipline, King Crimson
If you wanna touch the sky, you must be prepared to die, and I hate cough syrup don't you? -Cough Syrup, Butthole Surfers
