What's your favorite video game-based series/movie?

Wasn't Lain a video game before it became an anime? (I don't know the order of that)

Blood was just a lead in story for a series of video games.

Anyway... I think Capcom does a great job with their videogame to anime series. I am quite fond of the 4 episode Darkstalkers series.

Actually, the great captain played Mario if you double check, I think they have those old episodes on DVD now.

The Fatal Fury movies were fairly good, but I always wanted to see a King of Fighters anime.

Game I think should be an anime is Oni. But I guess it would be very similar to GITS:SAC

Anime that makes me want to play the game: Final Fantasy 9 and 10 and .Hack series.
