Yu gi oh
Don't care if I spelled it wrong, cause there's a new reason I hate this show. I settle in last night getting comfortable to watch the only show I try to set time aside to watch at 10 on CN. but instead of Samurai Jack, Yu gi oh comes on. Fags.

Um... well now you can watch it more cause im pretty sure they just replaced dbz with samurai jack on toonami. It's on 5:30 est now.Kracus wrote:Don't care if I spelled it wrong, cause there's a new reason I hate this show. Finally get rid of that dbz shit and they replace it with samurai jack... /sigh. They should bring back kenshin to toonami. or outlaw star. or something remotely good.

Well you can dislike DBZ and even Jack if you want but put Kenshin back on? Please, glad they took it off (didn't know they did). I got tired of seeing them show it cause they embrassed that show with the dubbed version. I wanted to stab someone everytime I heard them pronouce anything from Kenshin (moves, names, etc); even Kenshin's voice got on my nerves.
And yes after I posted I went to look were they moved Jack to. What is it the people here have against Jack. Is it original dislikes or just the general "they are just copying from anime." Which to me is a retarded argument when so much of current Japanese culture mimics Western society.

I don't think the fact that its geared towards kids is a bad thing. It keeps it were it belongs, playful and funny. I'm not really concerned about him killing real people, that's not what I'm looking for. To me it doesn't make a difference.DTJB wrote:One reason I didn't really like Samurai Jack is because, basically, it's geared towards kids. Practically every enemy Jack fights is just another robot, he never got into any really battles with any real human. That and the story structure blows.
He has although fought human characters, but not killed them. 3 that I've seen. One bounty hunter cyborg, one fake-me-out samurai (voice by David Allen Grier sp?) and a guardian who beat the crap out of jack. And it basically shows at the end of the guardian episode that he won't get back to the past for quite sometime.
Oh and he's also fought a yetti(sp?) and goat men, he just knocked them off a mountain or crushed them with ice. Oh and he also fought a evil version of himself, but I have not seen that show. Also a evil DJ, but he doesn't kill him.
To me, Jack not killing people and blood/gore, doesn't take anything away. If it was in there, it would take away from the humor and not be interesting at all.
