Hopeless Unromantic Anime Guys

c'mon every anime has this, a hopeless unromantic guy who falls in love with a girl(not necessarily falls in love with a girl, but you know, develops a soft spot for a person... etc. etc.) but which is the most hopeles of all?

for me it'd be maybe Lee from CCS but its cute you know...young romance. p.s. sakura is sooo naive. another would be ranma from ranma 1/2, i mean, he likes "what's the name of that girl..." but he hides his feelings

Well Sousuke Sagara from Full Metall Panic is kinda unromantic but thats only because he has been in wars his whole life and doesn't really know what love is.

Also I suppose Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto is also unromantic towards Sakura although he starts to develop somewhat of a soft spot for her.

I have to agree with Kyou, InuYasha, and Yuki.

Of course, Kyou could probably say something flat out to Tohru and she still wouldn't get it. >.< When he was carressing her face in the manga, I remember yelling "WHY CAN'T YOU DO THAT WHEN SHE'S AWAKE!?"

Also, I think Vash is a canidate. He's pretty vocal about his feelings for most girls, but when he finds somebody he really likes he tends to just act like a moron... maybe that's more the manga than the show though...

I watched Fruits Basket in its entirety this past weekend... I love Kyo-kun... *sighs dreamily* Though I think his problem isn't that he didn't show it--it's that Yuki tended to beat him to the punch. Like the ep where they go visit Tohru's mother's grave--he opens his mouth to volunteer to go too, but Yuki actually puts it into words first. Or when Tohru's sick and Yuki gets pissed that Kyo-kun "stole" the leeks from the garden to make her some soup instead of being glad on some level that she got said leek soup so she'll get better... Kyo-kun's such a sweetie...

I actually think that Miroku, to some extent, goes through similar issues with Sango. It's obvious that they're in love, but the only way Miroku can express it is by keeping it on a playful level (aka by groping her).
