yea yeah...me again. evangelion patriot that didn't stay evangelion patriot...in anycase.

angelic layer.

there are SO many different versions of the dvd. right? now there's a new glittery eng dub that doesn't quite have all the eps out.

i have that ol' japanese boxset. the first one that comes with three dvds, then theres the second one that has...two more dvds, i think?

then supposedly theres an 'official' dvd that has all the eps on it.

question: which one is better (as in, with all the eps on it). the best capture all that good stuff. which one does everyone use to make the amvs? they have all the eps on their amv's (usually), but i'm not sure whether to finish off the rest of my set with the matching snazzy second boxset, or to get that 'official' dvd thing. (not the eng dub one, not all the eps are out yet).

someone help me!

(and before you ask. yeah. i know. angelic layer isn't the best crayon in the box, but if you ask me, it has cool fight scenes)

by many different sets you mean bootlegs :\ I'm sure there's only one Japanese set and its Region 2 and has no subtitles. The english one is just coming out, and will be awhile before it finishes.

The Hks I've seen are ok-poor video quality and horrible subtitles (the characters names change a few times)

Region 0 + Chinese subtitles= bootleg >_>

well, i mean. there are good amvs like angelic gear perfect. i want to know which type of dvd would be good to get to make videos like that.

(oh yeah...if you know of a url and price, if it wouldn't be too much trouble to post it.
