Excel saga worth getting or not???

Hey, im just wondering what excel saga is like? ive seen a couple of clips on dvd trailers and thought it looked pretty good. so is it good? or shithouse?

Well consider that its a comedy, nothing is sacred, and they parodize almost everything. It is IMHO a very good comedy series. Silly sometimes but very good.

I highly recommend it. And when she's not dying or coughing up blood Princess Hyatt is a cutie.

ok, so like, when llplizzo shot Excel and she lost her memorie, i was like OMG thats so sad. =\ no really, i actualy liked Excel and she was soo hurt by him, its really sad. course, it all goes to hell when excel and hyatt do the body change and Excel is feeling up on her self cuz she sees shes cute O_O omgwtf is all i have to say about that =P

Excel Saga is a really funny anime, however I suggest getting it on DVD becuase there is a option that's called Menchi notes that tells you what some of the jokes mean...

( In the ep "Immisible force Ditenzin" *I know i didn't spell it right...* in the litte thing before the ep with Koshi Rikdo it shows the back of a guy with pointy blounde hair and a red coat... Gee I wonder who he is!!)

Excel Saga is awesome! It's really funny! The manga's good too(but, I prefer the anime) Mince is sooooo cute!!

Excel Saga is crazy hilarious ^^

Basically it's about this little group of people (The Idealistic Organization ACROSS who try to take over the world for their leader Ilpallazo...)

It's hilarious if you've seen/understand other animes...if you're new to anime you might not get some of the jokes because in all honesty, Excel Saga is this giant parody of all things anime ^^ *some western cliches included too though*

And as Milk Toast said, the DVD's are great! They're filled with all this extra stuff....*huggles her copies* and they feature ADVidnotes where Menchi pops up and explains some of the jokes ^^

Seriously though, if you like slapstick sort of comedy, you'll LOVE Excel Saga.
