Weiss Kreuz

I'm new to the site and I'm just wondering, is anyone a fan of Weiss Kreuz? It sells under the title Knight Hunters in the US...don't know why...that's a lame title. None of my anime buddies at school know much about it. PLEASE tell me someone here has heard of it!

One of my friends is a big fan of the Weiss boys. I haven't seen any of it though.

I love it! It's one of my fave animes. Number 1!!!

Not to mention Aya is my fave character and so is Yohji/Youji/Yoji 8) heh

One reason for the different title is that Weiss kreuz means White Cross in German and in the US I think they thought it would be an arguing point. In one episode, Aya refers Weiss as Knight Hunters so that might be another reason for that title.

Yah, that was the series that brought me into anime... though now that I think about it, its animation totally SUCKED. You should try to read some reviews for it (try AnimeOnDVD.com); they're always hilarious.

The Weiss boys were pretty cute tho. Sucks that the new series has completely different character designs.

Yeah... the aforementioned friend isn't sure she even wants to see the second series because of the changed designs.

Aya is by far my fave...though I must admit, the animation is seriously lacking. It's a bit like a soap opera as well. But on the whole, I really love it, and the OVA is great as well. I haven't seen the second series (Gluhen) and I'm not sure I want to cuz someone sort of spoiled the ending for me. The character designs are a bit strange...on the plus side, though, there's a THIRD Weiss series currently running in a manga magazine.

I wish they'd run it in the US.

Weiss Kruez...I watched one episode... something bout chess... lots of squealing fangirls.. And if you look up review online of it, the one thing ALL of them mention is "gaping plot holes"... i probably shouldn't have read them before i watched it

it made me biased.

ive seen the whole series of weiss kreuz when my aunt went on an anime shopping spree and decided to buy the whole thing. and yea, i liked it. weiss kreuz gluhen is the stupidest thing ive ever seen though. one: cuz the character design sucks and two: the plot is kindof stupid. but the actual actual series is okay. my fav. character farfie. the movie good too.
