turn on = nosebleed? I'm confused

Post by motemote » Wed Oct 22, 2003 4:03 pm

Alright, I'd like to know if any of you have actually had a nosebleed from seeing hotties like they do it in anime... Naruto, Green Green, Goldenboy, Love Hina, ermm, no need to continue. What is with this phenomenon. I've studied quite a bit of Japanese history and their culture, but I have not yet figured out this nosebleed thing yet.

The idea is that when you get aroused in such a manner, you get excited, your blood pressure rises....
Although it is entirely symbolical, like the nose bubbles on sleeping people.
I like bugging people. Deal with it.

ACTUALLY!

there was this one time (at band camp.....:-P j/k.... i just had to say that!.... even thought i've never seen any of the american pie movies ANYWAY!!!! back to the subject.)

yeah....ERG! NO YEAHS!

BREAK THE HABIT!

BAD BAD BAD CHEELALA!....

anyways. really
back to the question.

There was this one time where one of my guy friends saw this (ahem... in the words of the aim chat) "hawt" girl who was wearing a practically see-through shirt and a sheer bra.... and she came up and talked to him...and he got a nosebleed. He doesn't like anime, so when me and my other anime-liking friend both yelled NOSEBLEED at the same time he was sooooo confused.

It was funny.

:-P

The hilarity of it all made me forget to yell at the slutty chick about how slutty she was. That is my only regret.

I don't know if the nosebleed had anything to do with the girl, but it was a mighty funny coincidence.

Hm... so there is truth to it after all.
I gues your friends is one of those that get nosebleeds easily.

actually, it's rather funny, because he's normally one of those "tough guy" people. He used to freak out when he got a nosebleed (i've known him forever) but he really doesn't get them that often....

oh well. :-P

Well, a buddy of mine got a huge nosebleed (I mean, it was pouring all over his shirt) just from doing a handstand.

I wonder what he was thinking in the meantime. :?

I don't think I ever got a nosebleed in my life.

Does that mean I have to question my sexuality?

Heh, yep, all these great symbolic 'emotions' anime came up with. Nosebleed, sweatdrop, whatever...
