some good anime

hey i want to try out some new animes but i want to find out what these ar elike first
i dont really like anime thats perverted or pointles. Can anyone give some good things or what they think on these series

Fatal Fury
Excel Saga
Chobits
Blue Gender
Sakura Wars

ive looked at these on the inetrnet but what do you guys htink of them?

Chobits, definately watch it, i havnt heard the dub but i know the sub is yet another great comedy/romance.

Excel Saga - VERY good but ONLY if its subbed, i almost threw my chair at the big screen when i heard the dub while i was at AX...that woulda been bad, luckily my bro stopped me lol and they played it subbed in the end anyway --;

Chibits= very good comedy/romance. Anime has some fanservicyness, but not too bad, most of it is harmless. Though has a great drama behind it.

Excel Saga= SLAPSTICK comedy at it's finest, though if you haven't watched a lot of animes stuff may go over your head, it's a giant spoof/parody. My advice watch it with the vid notes. AND FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY WATCH IT SUBBED, DUBBED DOES NOT EXIST FOR THIS ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously...

/haven't seen the others. Though I own most of the Excel and Chobits. (Only one more chobits dvd to go, and 2 more excel ^^)

Excel Saga - this anime starts off well, but seems to lose its depth and excitement pretty early on.

Chobits - this is an alright anime, however it's a bit ecchi and you mentioned you didn't like perverted anime.

Sakura Wars - I only saw part of this anime and wasn't very impressed by it.

Scrapped Princess
Last Exile
Stellvia (if you can bear extreme kawaiiness)
Tenshi na Konamaiki (a couple year old, but very good)

well i like Hellisng (finally saw it) and im asking the dvd boix set of Cowboy Bebop for christmas.

Thign is my usually favorite anime has alot of action and romance. I like some comedy (i like Triguns). Not a big fan at all of fantasy type anime but I likeof course samurai themes, space themes.

err...ive heard of echhi but what is it exactly. I forgot

You'd like One Piece. The comedy is great, and there is a character who is an homage to samurai. Except he fights with three swords at once. (one in his mouth!)
