ok ok, i know this sounds stupid since eva i so old but i only just recently watched the whole series i watched the two movies wen they were released dubbed which is before i saw the series but now i have. anyways to get to the point is that ive heard rumorsof an american made live action which could be cool and i was wondering if any of u could inform me about it. also im planing on getting the knew dvd coming in january that has a remaster of eva eps 20 thru 23 and has a 25 minnute interview with some dude from weta monstors or sometin and he is th head of the live action.

Artists initial inpressions
oh and a side note, they got weta to do this movie, which for those of you who don't know are the guys who did the the effects,and well everything in the Lord of the rings trilogy(weapons,costumes,etc).

All I know about it is:
GAiNAX, ADV, and Weta are all in on it.
It's got a large budget (forget the exact number).
It's supposed to have an international cast, IIRC.

I'd love to know what language they're planning to do it in.

I don't envy the computer animators who will most likely be the ones producing the Evangelions and getting them to look and move right.

Well if weta follows with the same detail,and cg quaility from LOTR, we are gonna get some awesome looking Eva's. The only thing that worries me is the cast, and the directing... :roll:
