Is there a second series for Berserk???

The second series is in pre-production at this point. They're working on what to include in the script and that type of stuff.
It will be at least one more year before the second series is even released in Japan. Then we can count on at least one year after that before it's available here in North America.

If you want more Berserk, at this time you'll have to settle for the Manga (which is a pretty good read actually).

There is a chance that the project will be cancelled but I doubt it because demand is so high on both sides of the Pacific.

Quite frankly I dont want to see a 2nd Berserk tv series. They cut out way to much stuff in the first series. I dont even know what they are gonna do to the story if there is a second series. Maybe if it was an OAV then maybe. Right now I doubt a second series will come about. Pre production doesn't really mean anything. There still is no official word on anything (trust me I've checked). And I know some will say "but since its so soon before it begins then there wont be an official word" trust me for something as big as this, there would be lots of mentions beyond rumors.
