Eva Manga?

Does anybody know if the eva mangas came out in english? I looked everywhere and only found the Viz single comics and it's hard to find all of them! I also found the Manga's in french, but not English. If you know where I can find these Manga's let me know.

Wait, you're <i>not</i> looking for the Viz volumes?

What else is there?

I know Viz has volumes #1-7 done, and the later few are also available in Special Collector's Editions (read: unflipped, sound effects untranslated). However, Volume 7 came out last March, 6 months after volume 6... it's almost a year later, and volume 8 <i>still</i> isn't done. I can't help but wonder what the holdup is.

Well, if u looking for the Neon Genesis Evagelion mangas, they have them at ur local borders book store or barnes and noble. They have only come out with volumes 1 through 7, but volume 7 has been out for a long time. According to the anime store workers that is near my school, the people who released the eva mangas have stopped releasing the rest of the series because of something in the lines of ... they got busy with some other anime series that seemed more important than eva... well thats just wat i've heard, can anyone confirm this ...

*looks at her issues of the manga* Well, Viz is still releasing them...
I'd guess look anywhere, at your local anime or book store. I can find them at my library now, so they're probably somewhere near you. All of them are in the flipped version and the special edition manga-style version, #7 is the latest, and I seriously want to read the 8th. I'm surprised that #7's been out that long... Well, #8 should come soon enough... I hope

The VIZ graphic novels should be somewhere, though they can be hard to find.

not really that hard, even if they don't have them in stock, ask a clerk to order them for you, that's what i did at Borders
they had most of them (in flipped format) in addition to special edition volume 7, but all i had to do was ask someone and they special ordered volumes 1-6 for me (special editions so that they were NOT flipped) and then i bought vol. 7.... so i got them all in non-flipped format, cept for the ones they either haven't released (duh..) or haven't even made in japanese yet for some blasphemis reason!

I only have one of the Viz graphic novels, the one featuring Asuka's entrance

I did aquire some manga in comic book style, about three issues, friend found them at the local comic book store.

Been released up to volume 7 in graphic novel form... and VIZ is sure taking their sweet ass time releasing it too... it's nearly been a year since volume 7 was released.

I've seen scans of the Eva manga with kaoru in it... so it must be almost finish in Japan

Even if they are almost finished in Japan, that doesnt insure that we will get those mangas over here in the states. I just hope that they will start releasing them again because ive been waiting for a really long time now and thats not good to have an unhappy customer...
