Good thing the Japanese put subliminal messages in their anime saying "Made in Japan"
Those clever buggers think of everything.
Except that most people can't read Japanese. Apparently there's a commitee working on that though.
Its all bad news.

It's nice to know that companies that pick up titles never pay any attention to their fanbase. Look at the history of whenever a name change or any major change is applied to an anime series. People always complain and then start their campaigns against the company, etc. I forget which title it was (Kimagure Orange Road?) that Animeigo released, but all they did was cut out the ending credits between episodes on the DVD to get a higher quality picture and sound and they ended up getting bitched at and offered to re-author the DVDs. Something so small.....yet here we have companies making massive blunders.
