I've never seen the Original Dirty Pair, but I like Dirty Pair Flash...now if only I could find Mission 1.

I've only read the original 80s Dirty Pair mangas, which are excellent btw. Dirty Pair Flash is the new series since mid 90s, new look, new characters. I've only seen the dubbed series and thought funny in some parts, I found the shrill voices anoying....but i managed to watch the whole first series buy humming whenever they spoke, just to cushion the impact.

The DPF series does have some fanservice, in fact there was an episode where full frontal nudity was shown and then theres the "obsessed fanboy dollhouse" episode....hazzaa!!

That said, it should be quite ok to watch, you find more on the publicity pics and wallpapers.

Its a funny series with some nice action scenes and good sprinkling of the obligatory fanservice. I still prefer the original Dirty Pair aka Lovely Angels.

I was a big fan of the Dirty Pair TV series (which has never come to the US) and I enjoyed the Movies...

the OAV (which came to US as "Original Dirty Pair") seemed to blow the humor out of proportion.

It went from "Well, we destroyed the evil computer, but we also ended up powering down the city... oops!"

to

"Well, we stopped the villains, but ended up destroying the whole mining colony and killed all the people there. Oh, well... tee hee!"

This, to me, crosses the line from funny to stupid.

Then came Dirty Pair Flash... which took out everything I liked about the show and replaced it with fan-service. I REFUSE to watch Dirty Pair: Flash

Still haven't seen that much of it. While I liked the original over D.P. Flash, I found that both were very enjoyable.

While I haven't seen either one of them. dokidoki's DDR2 Video, Fully Feel The Super Dancing Rhythmic Heart Of The Loving Beat II Alpha... With A Vengeance! (Love that title) has convinced me it's probably worth taking a look at.
