hellsing info needed

i'm sure a lot of u ppl have heard of hellsing, it's one of my favorite anime. well i tryed to find out what the symbol on alucard's hand ment, i cant find it, i've heard its from the bible but i was wondering what it actually means. if anybody knows could u plz tell me or tell me a website to go to find out?

I'v no idea what that symbol is, I've seen a couple pictures, its like a pentagram right? Well you should find a prodestant bible because I heard Hellsing mythology comes from the prodestant sect of Cristianity. I'm a damn idol worshipper myself (Catholic).

Is Hellsing really good? Hyper (Aussie mag) gave it an average score, they said it tried to be classic to hard.

yes it is. im 99.99% sure its the symble for the devil. and yes hellsing is awsome

A 5 pointed star surrounded by a circle isn't nessicarily the devil symbol. It's called a Pentacle, and it's one of the four symbols in the Minor Arcana deck, along with Wands, Cups, and Swords. It can also be called a coin, I think it's really used to symbolize wealth but I guess it can represent the devil as well.

well maybe im wrong. eh iv seen it used for the devil lots of times but it could mean wealth aswell

The five pointed star, pentagram, is only a symbol of evil when two points face upwards(its all through the doom games), though I suppose this depends on your perspective really. I read this in some occoult encyclopedia, "the complete guide" or something.

Pentacle? Isn't it pentagram? or is it a pentacle when it has one point up and a pentagram when it has two?

i did a google search and it seems that the pentagram is the symble for evil with 2 points up and the is the same as the star of david (symble of judism) pentacle.
