Cowboy Bebop for the PS2!!

well i just found out in my Tips and Tricks magazine that theres going to be a Cowboy Bebop game for the ps2. its being developed by Bandai. doesnt surprise me. i just hope it either goes by the plotline or it gives it a new story with a bounty hunting type feel to it. any things better then the crappy Bebop game for the ps1. oh yeah and its coming out in October.

Good stuff! And yes, pretty much anything is better than the ps1 bebop game. Man that thing was bad.

A lot of anime games seem to get bad reviews from people on this site.

That's frankly because most of them are down-right awful. One of the ones that i've enjoyed alot though is the Battle Angel Alita ps1 game.

Luckly I eather read or wach the anime first before I check out the game, A cowboy bebop game--- I hope it's a multi play game.

I kinda have mixed expectations about this game. Reason for that is because its being developed by Bandai. I can't say that Bandai has made stellar games in the past (Gundum anyone?). And knowing them, they'll probably just half-ass the project and make still make money because of Cowboy Bebop's large fanbase. Which sux for me, because I'm also part of that fanbase, but here's hoping.

Unfortunately you're probably dead-on. Especially with their Gundam franchise (as you mentioned). All of the PS2 ones were very mediocre, and were released in quick succession.

hopefully theyll at least put some effort into it by having the actual voices from the dub kinda like DBZ Budokai.

I hope that they would at least do a japanese sub/english dub hybrid like some games have been doing recently. I for one completely dislike the english dub.

it could be worse. they might make us read some crappy scrolling text. i think ive seen that done in some Gundam games.
