What anime made you want to really get into it? I started watching Kenshin when it was on the Cartoon Network during toonomi and I absolutly loved it so thats what got me into anime.

For me, it was two things: Vampire Hunter D and Princess Mononoke.

I'll admit that I first got interested by Sailor Moon (during its very first run on UPN), but the movie that hooked me was Nausicaa.

DBZ, Trigun, Urotsukidoji, Bio Booster Armor Guyver, G Gundam ( and 2 other gundam series I can't remember the names of right now), Martian Successor Nadesico, and right now Grappler Baki ( largly thanks to Baki AMV's)

Well, my first anime was actually Pokémon...but I didn't know that as anime at the time. I discovered REAL anime through Tenchi Muyo! on Toonami. Ditto to what J-0080 said...Cabbits rule!
