Anime Collection Awards - 2004

Welcome to the first Anime Collection Awards 2004

The idea behind this is, i was looking at the topic "What anime merchandise do you own?" and alot of people have spent a lot of money on there DvD collections, and i though those people deserve an award for all there hard work in collecting such a large amount of Anime dvds, and so here it is the First Anime Collection Awards 2004.

So getting straight to business the first Category in this Award Ceremony is the -
"I SPEND TO MUCH MONEY ON ANIME, BUT ITS WORTH IT AWARD - 2004"

All you have to do to nominate yourself is, just say how much you have spent on your collection or a very close esitmate and if you wish, you can post a list or link of your Anime Dvd Collection. Award nominate for this category end on Saturday 3rd of April. The lucky winner will receive the "ISTMMOABIWI" award statue.

NOTE WINNER WILL NOT RECEIVE A REAL GOLD STATUE!

Heh. Looks fun.

My Collection, which doesn't include the VHS tapes I donated to my college's anime club when I graduated. It's also short a quite a number of posters.

Total spent, between US$5000 and $5200, as I don't remember what I paid for some of them.

over $7,000 on dvd's alone...

heres a fairly old list which is missing quite a few things ive bought recently, but i might update it soon...

and yeah thats not including d/led bootlegged, etc and is not completely up to date...and yeah subtract 2 dvd's from it if you want, i have Seven Samurai on there for some reason =/

ive been into anime for a long while (well im only 16 so not SUPER long lol) but to tell you the truth i just started BUYING anime dvd's about 3 years ago!

Well my list would take too long to type out, click on the "DVD Collection" link in my sig. BTW all those listed are legal domestic release dvds. No bootlegs in the MAS Productions collection. The total cost is nearly 12k. The total is 12,995 dollars. I think thats over a total of 6 years or so. I never realized that that much had been spent. Oh well, it was money well spent.
