Frustrated Yu Yu Hakusho fans

Post by ryuu_hime13 » Thu May 06, 2004 7:12 pm

Does anyone have any idea when CN will resume airing Yu Yu Hakusho...and FINISH the damn thing? I know it's a long running series, but I've heard they haven't even aired half of it yet. The DVD releases are ahead of the TV show, right? By how many episodes? They keep stopping it before Kurama's fight in the Dark Tournament...I know how it ends, but I still want to see it! Anyone got some answers? Please and thank you! :)

OH, you read my mind, bud.....

Last episode they ever aired was the one with Genkai to fight Shishiwakamaru minus her full power. I badly want to see the rest of it, dammit!!!

I think CN is starting to piss us off on purpose or something. My friend Roland (of Seattlewebdesign.com) is still freeakin' mad that they dropped Witch Hunter Robin...

If CN stopped during the tournament, then the dvds are definitely ahead - they're already going into the Sensui arc (next to last arc of the series, and the best IMO). It's a good way to encourage fans to buy the anime instead of just recording it on tv - you don't get commercials and you can hear the great voice actors of the Japanese version. ^__^ Only problem is it's a long series to get. Wait a year or two and they should have some box sets, hopefully with entire arcs (4 sets would be a great deal, or even 3 - not those little quarter-arc sets). I think the last dvd I saw for sale was the first one after the tournament, but I'm sure there are more out by now.

Pretty sure new episode. Now I have to call off the group of terrorists I hired (the ones that will take over cartoon network and will threaten to kill staff members unless they start showing new episodes of YYH)

I probably shouldn't joke about that

It was on Adult Swim, so I think that would be around 12:30 for you.
