Weird Couples

I know alot of people like the original couples, for some Anime i do too. But what's your favorite non-canon couple, like not usual but you think they're perfect for each other.

I like ALOT of diff. couples, some people just are and aren't meant to be you know.

Kurama and Hiei from YYH. Obviously. ^_^;;

Non-cannon, a 'weird couple' look-wise, and they suit each other's personalities and function well together. Hiei's the only one who could put up with Kurama's dark side and twisted sense of humor, and Kurama's the only one who can tease Hiei and walk away unscathed. Plus they share great 'silent conversations' since they know each other better than anyone else. They make a nice fighting team, too.

It's my favorite 'non-couple' from anime. I blame the 'teargem' scene for that. ^.^

For that matter Link and Charlotte from the same anime aren't exactly the most normal couple either.

I think most animes has the 'odd couple' formula. There always seem to be a guy who always think things through and a partner who is usually hot-headed and usually does things on the fly.

Naraku/Onigumo may be lusting after Kikyou in-between trying to kill her [again], but the feeling is not mutual. I really can't imagine her wanting to get romantic with her murderer. Where's the logic behind this pairing? It boggles my mind.

Kaworu and Rei from NGE. That's pretty non-canon given the fact he's the object of a number of yaoi fics and she's seriously lacking in the emotion department.
