YuYu Hakusho for NES
Has anyone ever seen YuYu Hakusho for NES (as an NTSC version)? I know the game exists, I just haven't seen it. What does NTSC stand for? I don't know for sure but NTSC games are the american games. THere are 3 types of games, NTSC, PAL, and Japan. PAL games are european games. The last one is obvious. Why does it make a difference and why should I care? It's a well known fact that the three don't mix. For instance, An NTSC version of Unreal Champoinship won't work in a PAL XBOX. Anyway, enough of that, does anyone know where I can buy it?

NTSC stands for National Television System Committee and is the television standard used in North and South America, Japan and other parts of eastern Asia.
PAL stands for Phase Alternating Line and is the television standard used in most of the rest of the world.
For NES games, there are PAL versions of games for European release, and NTSC versions for NA/Japan release. However, there are different versions for Japan and the North American games because (beyond the language difference) the hardware differences between the Japanese machine (Famicom) and the US machine (NES) make it impossible to play Famicom games on the NES without a 60-pin to 72-pin converter.
The YYH game was never released in the US, so there is no 72-pin cartridge that will play in a US NES. However, you can get the pin converter and the Famicom game if you want to play it. This FAQ at GameFAQs has a few links to places that have Famicom hardware or games that you could try. My personal opinion is that eBay is probably your best bet. Good Luck!

Good news. There really is a NTSC version of YYH! It was released in 1996. I downloaded the NoseFart file and listened to the end theme.JHU Battousai wrote:NTSC stands for National Television System Committee and is the television standard used in North and South America, Japan and other parts of eastern Asia.

Also they have two for the super NES ones is where it kinda takes you through the whole story line starting with yurameshi and kuabara chasing after hiei and kurama. The other has these really neat characters. It's a fighting game with really cool graphics. you can download the SNEX 9.1 emulator and then the YUYU Hakusho games to play them
