What is your least favorite anime?

People always talk about the good points of anime and what's their favorite and stuff. That's all good, but it might lead people to think that all anime is good and that nothing ever sucks. That couldn't be further from the truth.

Now I haven't seen too much anime, but in the small amount I've seen, I have found a few that I did not like.
The first is Cyborg 009. I'm not even sure if this one counts as anime it is so bad. Its just a poorly thought out show with weak story lines and pathetic characters.
The second is a movie called Ninja Ressurection. I watched it thinking it might be something like Ninja Scroll, which is an awesome movie by the way (a little too much butt-sex, but awesome none the less), but I was toroughly dissapointed. Ninja Ressurection just made me feel sick. Not because of anything disgusting in the movie, but because it sucked that bad. It just was pointless. Maybe there's more of the story out there somewhere, but I doubt that its any good.
The third is the last season of Rurouni Kenshin, but there's an entire thread devoted to that already.

I was just wondering what anime people have not liked, if any. So, if you have some, post here and tell us why you don't like them. If you disagree that something posted about is bad, you may also post here.

My least favorite anime would have to be LAIN. I'm not bashing it or anything but I would rather watch the entir season of kaliedo star before I would watch one episode of lain.

I actually liked watching that show. I didn't see much of it, but I liked how it focused on the past of the different Cyborgs (before their change I guess).

Another one I liked, but the series was never completed or something and this was all that was released. It's always nice to see things from a different perspective where they make out Christianity to be evil. Plenty of ninja magic and ultra-violence (when you're in that kind of mood).

Here's one I may agree with you on. The only difference is that I just hate the show, period. After hearing everyone and their brother rave about it I watched the prequel OVA and thought it was great. Bought the first volume and almost couldn't watch the whole thing through. Totally different atmosphere with the corny head bashing, google-eyes, and other crap I hate. The intro song was horrid.
There isn't all that much that I hate, but Soul Taker was rather lousy. It's like they gave LSD and crack to all the background artists and said "Go at it".

Cyborg 009 seemed a bit like a kids show to me, but maybe I was just looking at it the wrong way.

In Ninja Ressurection, I don't really think they made Christianity out to be evil, but certain people within the Christian group, who happened to be evil, were presented as such. It was a dumb ending the way it was though. I don't mind the bad guys winning, but it was a let down, even if I didn't like the rest of the movie.

It is true that the OVAs of Kenshin and the show are completely different styles of anime. I happen to like both styles, but not the third season of the show.

Once again, to each his own. I hope more people post. I'm so lonely.

I honestly think all the anime that's played on TV is definetly the worst. I really HATE dragonball, poke/digi/mon, beyblade, DUB ccs, yu-gi-oh, etc. I suppose one of the reasons would be the fact that so many kids I go to school with say they're a major anime fan simply because that's all they watch - and it irritates the hell out of me. I don't care for mecha either.

I sort of like Dragonball Z, but other than that, All the other stuff you mentioned sucks (including other dragonball series). I like some of the stuff they show on Cartoon Network, but besides that, all stuff on TV sucks (that doesn't mean I like all of what's on the Cartoon Network, just some).

*sighs* I wish I had cartoon network....Teletoon and YTV are not the greatest sources for anime. I *discovered* ccs on Teletoon...and YTV's playing Inuyasha uncut, and they did play Escaflowne. But that's all I can give my TV credit for
