military anime

Another "What animes fit in this category?" thread. Any anime in which one of the major characters is a soldier or cadet at a military school is acceptable. Police do not count. Bounty hunters and vigilantes don't count - there must be a military bureaucratic structure of some sort.

Ones I know of so far:
Berserk
Gundam Wing
Evangelion
Candidate For Goddess
Irresponsible Captain Tylor

I know there's lotsmore - what are they? And for less common series, please describe them or link to a review.

Hmm...I don't think Escaflowne is really a military anime. I think it falls more under fantasy. That's just what I think, though.
