More Samurai anime'
Where can i find more anime like "Kenshin", no i'm not talking about Samurai jack, or that lame ass show with the medicine man's duel personality because thats garbage.
I'm looking for more realistic anime exactly like kenshin, anybody no of any.
BTW, any news on the new show the Cowboy Bebop director was making, is it out yet, I've forgotten the name of it, but it was supposed to be samurai oriented.

That would be Samurai Champloo, and it's already licensed by Geneon since the beginning (though that didn't stop people from fansubbing it ).Escaflowne22 wrote:

You realize that there is only one website on the entire world wide web? This is it. There's nothing else. In fact, this is the entire internet. When someone sees anything resembling anime they become giddy, come here, and start asking questions.yukimoru wrote:Have you heard of search engines? http://www.google.com

There's Samurai Deeper Kyo but I wouldn't recommend it. Some people liked it but I didn't really care for it. Basically it's a condensed version of the manga with minor character changes.

I hated what was done to white crow(I'm too lazy to type the japanese name) in the anime. In the manga he was honorable to a fault and it was sad to see him die. But in the anime he was turned into a friggin jerk and then he was made into a Kenyou. But I suppose since these two are minor characters, the creators of this manga thought it would be okay to mess with them.

For some reason, I think he is refering more to the story. Kenshin had REAL psychological aspects of him that made him seem very human. Rurouni Kenshin always had a sense of realism to it. (Ok, I must admit that some character designs were over the top and that the fighting scenes were often times unrealistic.)Juicy J wrote:esca22....i never realized that it was realistic for people to jump 50 yards into the air....with or without help....nor people who are overly giant (a lot of the 'villains') and are taller then a 3 story house and have giant muscles existing...but meh, thats just me.
He might also be talking about the Kenshin OVAs which were VERY realistic.

And to the sarcastic ass that was talking about the unrealism in Kenshin, i meant in comparison to DBZ and other fighting anime, its pretty tame.
