A good anime with a 16-year old main character...?

I was fourteen when I saw Evangelion, and I really connected with the characters because we were the same age. It may sound silly to you, but I felt really close to them because of that. I'm sixteen today on June 30th, so fifteen is gone forever and I won't be sixteen for more than a year, so I was wondering if I could experience that "Same-Age-As-Main-Charatcer" feeling again.

Does anyone here know any good anime (movie, series, or maybe even manga) where the main character is a sixteen year old?

Ayashi no Ceres has a 16 year old protagonist though stay away from the dub version.

there really isnt ne 16 year main characters in anime... although i could swear Von from EscaFlowne is 16 ... so if you want to kill your brother (who wouldnt?) and want to pilot a giant mech like machine.... then im sure you'll "really connect" with von.

Except for Chiyo, all the Azumanga Daioh girls are 16 at some point during the series...

I didn't really care to spam this thread, but I found this quite interesting. You and I share the exact same birthday. I am exactly one year older, though. Exactly. Happy birthday to you, and to me .

Comic Party .....there seniors in highschool so there a bit older. And Pretear is about a 16 year old girl and the series is really short.

Oh and theres Fruits Basket all the main charaters are around 16 or 17. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure of the exact age of Naruto, but I'm pretty confident he is not sixteen.
Anyhoo, Ranma 1/2. Dunno if you'll be able to relate to the characters though.
