Haven't seen Pretty Sammy, but I like the OAV's animation better. However, Tokyo has Tsugaru and Hotsuma...
MAN Tsugaru freaked me out at first; I couldn't commit him to a gender...

Hmm..mine go in this order(best to least):

Tenchi Muyo: Ryo-Ohki(the original OAV)
Tenchi Universe
Magical Project S/Pretty Sammy TV series
Tenchi in Tokyo

I like the two main Tenchi series best of them all. Haven't seen the Pretty Sammy OAV or Tenchi GXP yet, so can't comment on those.

I loved the Tenchi OAV and Universe series.

But I HATED Tenchi in Tokyo for a lot of reasons. Mainly because of one character. Grr... DIE SAKUYA!

I liked the Tenchi Muyo OVA the best ... even though it didnt have a real solid story line

I disliked tokyo, but I didn't think Sakuya was that bad...

I like Tenchi Muyo the most. For some reason I didnt like Tenchi in tokyo as much as the other Tenchi's.
