final fantasy movie

hey does anyone know when the final fantasy movie is comin out. ive been hearin bout it for a while but only bits and pieces. i think it was called Final Fantasy advent children or somethin like that. if anyone could give me any info it would be greatly appreciated. thanx. ^_^

it supposedly comes with the game, which is supposed to be released on the psp.

from what i heard its goin to come out as a movie on umd for the psp T_T WHY SQUARE?! WHY?! DVD WE NEED DVD!!!

Actually, I believe they're releasing it on both DVD and UMD format in America. They're doing it in Japan in that fashion .. so all we can hope is they're doing it the same. If you want any information on it, my recommendation is that you go to Advent Children. It's a website dedicated to it. Have fun.

-- And no, I don't have a release date. I don't believe ANYONE does. But .. it's said it should be out sometime this winter, or early spring.

My brother is a big final fantasy fan...he told me they are making a new spin-off movie from final fantasy 7 called advent children. It comes out in Japan later this year on DVD and UMD, but they havent decided when itll come out in the U.S.

Yes, however they delayed it, and from the looks of all the chaos in the ranks of Square Enix .. the odds of them releasing it by Fall / Winter 2004? I honestly don't think so. And even then, it's not coming to the United States .. so it doesn't matter either way. I'd say Spring 2005 for us .. maybe even Summer 2005. Just have to hope.

Me being the FF fan that I am 8) , know some things:
There IS a FF movie that continues the story of the game FF7 called Final Fantasy VII Advent Children.
It starts 2 years after the game ended.
It was slated to be released this summer as in summer 2004 but the date has been pushed back i.e. fall then winter so nothing's concrete and/or clear.
I have most trailers of this movie, if not all and it looks...no words can describe.

Advent Children is a direct-to-video DVD movie.
