A some semi family friendly anime's

I was looking for a question to realy challenge the people here and I think I found one.
Name some heavy serious action animes that are semi-family friendly. Just to give some basic peramiters, no nudity, and minimal cursing and blood.

What's the age of the viewer(s)? The only one I can think of right now is Trigun, and maybe Nadesico, from the episodes I've seen.

The Rurouni Kenshin series has no nudity, very little cursing .. and not *too* much blood... when there is blood it's usually very stylized. And of course it's action-packed.

Are you trying to convince your parents that you're not "rotting your brain, watching kid's cartoons" or something?

Castle of Cagilostro, actually, Miyazaki does a good job at telling a story without having gratuitus violence in it
