hellboy anime question

I know that hellboy is a comic and a movie but dose annyone know if it will be made into an anime?

I heard it's going to be an anime series with Gonzo producing it. But I haven't heard any concrete information as of yet.

It's possible though, since hollywood is starting to jump on the anime bandwagon

Dark Fury you say? Something about that screamed "I want to be the animatrix!"

And not just the animation, I understand that part; its the whole concept of it. I think it over-simplified the story at hand.

Meh, that and the animation of that could of been better too. As I mentioned in a topic that was deleted since Dark Fury isn't necessarily anime, it looked like Peter Chung really got lazy with the work in it. The cg was really underdone in several parts and the animation wasn't as well done in compared to lets say..."Matriculated", especially in the end fight, the motion and such seemed too clunky. I just don't think Chung and his team should of done it at all :\ (I know they wouldn't of been my first choice)

Anywho, a Hellboy anime seems interesting enough, I wonder if they'll go with the actual comic or just take place after the movie?
