Some manga suggestion
Yeah, i know this is supposed to be about anime but i was curious to find out why manga is better anime, so i downloaded some manga from the net (Fullmetal Alchemist, Zombie Powder, Hellsing). It's really entertaining, and you get to knowmore of the story. But i noticed the actions and events that are in the manga sometimes miss or sometimes are scrambled (For example in hellsing vol 1 chapter 2 they show us how alucard got in contantc with integra while in the anime we have to wait till the final episodes to find that out)... Anyway, whta other interesting manga are out there?
Some titles to start with.......

Practically almost any anime you watched, theres a manga to it.
The mangas are better drawing wise(looks way better) you get all the detailed information that the anime might have skipped, and more.
Anime tend to change storylines, plots and add extra happenings, and change all kinds of stuff from the manga so it can be different.
Some good manga
Naruto
Hunter X Hunter
One Piece
Cromartie Koukou
Hikaru No Go
and much more. I read a lot of manga, but i really dont want to list all the ones I read, for it would take a very long time.

I need to get that. The show is f'n hilarious. So much so that I went out on a limb and bought the R2 dvds from Japan.AMVfreak wrote: Some good manga

Sakigake! Cromartie Koukou, while it's on my mind, has also been anounced that a live action version is being made.
Good mangas:
Trigun
Trigun Maximum (continuation of Trigun)
Outlaw Star
Evangelion (I still kinda like the show better)
Initial D
Ranma 1/2
Akira
Spriggan
And there's a bunch of new ones in Magazine Z and Young King Ours that I like:
AI, Pilgrim Jaeger, Excel Saga, (Young king Ours)
Verdant Lord, Metroid, Magikano, Pugyuru, Kurau, Grateful Dead, Kouyani Kemono Doukokusu (Magazine Z)
AI is about a futuristic water world. Pretty cool.
Pilgrim Jaegar is somewhat weird but cool none the less. Demon banishing(?). Funny though that possed people, animals whatever, sprout deformed chicken parts. Did I mention it was weird?
Excel Saga has different plot form the show, but it's just as zany as ever.
Verdant Lord is about nature taking back over, I think. The main character seems to be a hybrid plant/ human person. Good action and what appears to be a giant tree mecha (!?)
Metroid was pretty good. Some more insight on Samus. Appears to be a prequel to the first game (maybe it's a manga version of Zero Mission?)
Magikano. Magic, funny stuff, fan service. 'Nuff said.
Pugyuru. Surreal, strange and funny. Done in a 4 panel format like Azumanga Daioh.
Kurau. Just started to read it. (First chapter was in this month's issue). So far, so good. Awaking psyhic powers maybe?
Grateful Dead. haven't read much, but it looks good. Reminds me of King of bandit Jing for some reason (KOB Jing was also run in Magazine Z, as well as Wolf's Rain). Appears to have surreal alive/ undead main character that fights monsters. Kinda vague, I know, but you need to see it for yourself.
Kouyani Kemono Doukokusu. One of my current favorites. (even though I can only read about 2% of it). Main character appears to be genetically engineered with many animal characteristics (he still looks human, but he has superhuman senses and abilities, think Spider Man but without the chessy costume). it's only on the third chapter, but there was this cool chase down a highway with a mutated dog beast creature (which was apparently human once.) Very good so far.

I just read what i thought it was the complete series of full metal alchemist and it turned out it wasn't so complete after all (4 volumes). How many are there????? Does somebody knows if the series are over? How many volumes are there? And how many berserk and hellsing volumes are out? Is any of this series over?
Are my questions ever going to stop???????

xxxHolic is a good one
Blade of the Immortal (just buy it, you won't regret it)
Planetes (sci-fi, kind of a self-discovery manga. good stuff)
Ranma 1/2 (romance, comedy, action)
Maison Ikkoku (romance, comedy)
Chobits (romance, comedy, sci-fi)
Gravitation (shounen-ai, comedy)
Bleach (I didn't think this one would be any good, but it proved me wrong. Action, super-natural)
Akira (has already been mentioned, but it deserves to be mentioned again)
