Well we've gone through 5 rounds of voting to get to this point. The single best anime of the past 5 years. Thanks for everyone who voted. This was a really popular eliminator. Now the results of the Greatest Recent Anime! The winner is...

I didn't vote this time around. There was just too much anime I hadn't seen. It didn't feel right voting for one anime, and not having seen the other. Each round I hoped it would dwindle down to shows I had, but no such luck. However, now I feel I must check out the winner, Azumanga Diaoh. That show cleaned up, in each and every round.

Yeah, even though Kare Kano was in the original, it's recent enough that it should have been in this one. :)

Anyway, with no KK and Noir ousted in the first round, I didn't feel much like voting, until the last round. But thanks for doing it anyway, mad, long may you run.

AD is nuts. I guess whether you like it depends on your own tastes in anime, but right now it's certainly the most hilarious comedy show I've seen. I was literally on the floor laughing during some episodes, #8 being my favorite :roll:

Hopefully the show improves because right now... 5 eps in, it has only mustered a chuckle out of me. Its cute, but medicore.

Another good eliminator i can't wate to see the next one. I was pulling for Inu-Yasha to win this one but Azumanga Diaoh is a worthy winner. All though i was a bit bummed to see Please Teacher lose in the first round.

all hail the all powerful chiyo-chan. Not even the mighty keitaro can hold a candle to are great queen chiyo-chan. This was the best Eliminator can't wait for next one.
