Besides, what sort of 'kids' are we talking about? I mean, arguably things like Naruto are aimed at kids, from my perspective. That doesn't mean it can't be enjoyed by adults.
I think if you take a statistical sample, it'll turn out that most anime is aimed at the under-16, even under-14 age group primarily. That's kids from my POV, I don't know how others interpret that

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Note, Japan is more open than America, America edits everything ~_~; so, if it were up to the Japanese producers or what not it'd probably be the same as if it were aired in Japan, but since America edits everything to the point of giving it a G rating.. Another anime aimed for kids I believe is KiKi's Delivery Service...~_~ don't see any of your little inuendos in that one..
Wow...a signature..

If you live in America then there is the idea that anything animated is for kids. This is different in Japan where adults read manga and anime can be aimed at anyone. If you're an adult and you read comic books in America you're a geek or immature. It's all about how the American culture views things.
