I'm not sure what you're lookin' for here, but if its just opinions on the FotNS anime...

I loved it. Both the series version and film. The film version was the first true anime I ever saw. I have been hooked since.

I've seen the movie. It was cool. If only the animation didn't suck so much this'd be one of my favourite movies. The story and action aspects are done well though.

And yeah, bote is right when he said the animation wasn't too good (but that's because it was originally done back in the 80's).

on the subject of this, does anyone have any idea when the boxed set will be released in britain?

i know this is stupid 'cos there's about 5 people on the entire org who are british but what the hell, i can hope

The other day while in Best Buy I noticed that the first volume of New Fist Of The North Star was released. I'm going to have to pick this one up at some point. I remember when I first saw the Streamline version of Fist Of The North Star movie. I thought it was so cool, and then Manga Ent. started to release the TV series. Collected maybe two or three VHS tapes before I said it's all been covered in the movie and quit. I managed to watch what was shown on the Action Channel's AniMidnight. Just when it was going places they stopped showing it.
