Best anime soundtracks
Hey everyone, what's your favorite anime sound track?
I think Bebop and DragonBallZ (Japanese not the crappy american) have the best sound tracks. It's sad that DB's soundtracks chance every season and the american soundtrack is basically pointless with all that heavy metal and no words. The 80s stuff was excellent (ie chala).

Taku Iwasaki's work on the first Rurouni Kenshin OVA soundtrack is probably my absolute favorite. That CD actually finds itself in with my regular rotation of music, as opposed to general anime music that I listen to when I want to hear "anime music," and not just "music." I like to put the CD on when I'm reading or simply relaxing; I find it phenomenal. While I don't enjoy the 2nd OVA in any way, shape, or form... I do slightly enjoy its OST as well, and tend to put it on after the 1st's OST is complete.
As for just general soundtracks I like to listen to sometimes, of course I'm a fan of Shunsuke Kikuchi's DragonBall and DragonBall Z compositions, if only because they're of such sentimental value. Beyond that, though, I don't listen to many soundtracks, as a whole :/
