I just put this up, cuz my school is starting an Anime Club.
If you had/have an Anime Club what would you like to see or do in it?
Please post your opinions here, I need HELP with this. Thanz in advance!

Make absolute sure that you can watch other animes BESIDES ones shown on Cartoon Network. Try to get permission to watch some stuff that might be more violent than a school normally allows. Otherwise, what you do is up to you. I can't stress enough, DON'T only watch stuff on CN. My friend went into anime club at my high school with three different animes because he heard they were still watching DBZ. He got rejected because they couldn't show them because they were slightly beyond school rules.
The most expedient way to avert crisis is always by the indiscriminate extinction of anything that stands in your way.

You know you posted this message twice, right? (They deleted the one I was posting in. Poo)
If I were to join an Anime club, I would like to see some of the following things:
Anime (DUH): If someone picks up a new series, watch it. Loan each other DVDs or VHS. Put money together and buy a communal series. Whatever. This is what everyone is there for.
AMV: Obvious spinoff of Anime. Show AMVs you get off this site (with propper credits as well as creator permission, of course). Host an Iron Chef. Show off each others videos. Share ideas. Make a collective video/project.
Cosplay: Not a fan of it myself, but if people want, have a cosplay day. Everyone who wants can come in character. Heck, you could judge the outfits and offer prizes (even something cheesy like a pair of socks).
Manga: Bring Manga. Have a reading day. Share them. Just like anime, except not animated.
Just be creative. What would you like to do/see done? Chances are, it'll fly.

If the army or navy ever looks upon heavens scenes, they would see that the streets are guarded by the United States Marines.

Don't worry, I was the president of an anime club in my last sememster of my senior year, and all the animes we watched where dubbed. There were no deaf people so subtitles where not needed.angelx03 wrote:Here's what I like the anime club to do. SHOW THE ANIME SERIES DUBBED (with subtitles for the deaf)!
C'mon, I'm surrounded by club members who doesn't even give dubs a chance.
I SACRIFICE!

Trying screening the "Urotsukidoji".....just kidding.
If by voive you mean voice I would say, uh, no. If it's a HIGH school you're going to, I would also recommend against wearing costumes. (BTW in Japan there is a trend in those schools which don't require uniforms for the female students to wear uniforms anyway) I mean, we all know what High School is like.
